Laser Technician:

Exciting challenges for this position include being involved with innovative programing utilizing your understanding of NC, CNC, CAD and other techniques.

Ideal Candidate Will Have the Following Proven Skills:

• Understanding dwg and dxf AutoCAD drawings.
• Print reading expectations: Understanding of GDT, thickness, surface finishes, entry and exit side, taper controls and other requirements.
• Understanding of machine operations and safety: Shutter Controls, Start Up and Shut Down
• Parameter Adjustments: Cutting Speeds. Power Settings. Laser Focus.
• Developing New Fixturing and Utilizing current fixturing properly to produce quality parts.
• Understanding of self monitoring quality controls from First Articles, In Process Inspections to Final inspections.
• Complete understanding of Customer Requirements and Needs.
• Willing to ask question and make hard decision during crucial situations that directly affect LPT and Customers.
• Proven confidence utilizing metrology equipment , such as, calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, feeler gauges and automated inspection equipment.
• Utilizing high power microscopes to visual parts for conformance.
• Knowledge of tolerances and dimensional controls to verify parts are within specification down to +/- 0.0005”
• Willing to learn new processes and work with entire team to meet goals.

Equipment Operators:

Exciting challenges for this position include maintaining expected throughput times and freedom to be innovative.

Ideal Candidate Will Have the Following Proven Skills:

• Loading and unloading parts from an xy stage that have been micro-machined thru laser processing and/or dicing.
• Interchanging CNC programs based off of part number and revision.
• Fine tuning programs to meet specifications in current environmental conditions.
• Basic understanding of metrology equipment , such as, calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, feeler gauges and automated inspection equipment.
• Utilizing high power microscopes to visual parts for conformance.
• Knowledge of tolerances and dimensional controls to verify parts are within specification down to +/- 0.0005”
• Willing to learn new processes and work with entire team to meet goals.

Post Processing Specialists:

Exciting Challenges of this position is the controlling all aspects of all incoming and outgoing product thru LPT. You will be the first and last to see the product before our customer does. Very critical position to the success of LPT.

Ideal Candidates Will Have the Following Proven Skills:

• Time Management.
• Preparing orders for Laser Machining and Diamond Sawing
• Capability to wear PPE and work with small amounts of solvents, such as, denatured alcohol, Isopropanol and Acetone.
• Able to work in a constant minimal machine noise
• Microscope use to verify part integrity.
• Warm Water
• Willing to learn other opportunities.
